The Rocky Top name first made an impact with the creation of the Rocky Top Pet Kennel in 2001. The grooming operations moved to West Waynesville in 2003, along with a small boutique. We offered services such as bathing and grooming, but there were no pet retailers in the area. That's when the idea of a pet store came into the picture. In 2008, Rocky Top Pets was born and it was the new pet superstore in town! Our services were not only bathing and grooming, but retail of various animals, supplies, and accessories. We moved once again in 2011 to our current location to expand the size of the store.
